“Elaine Silver's music has the power to induce you into a deep state of Love”
— Don Miguel Ruiz, best-selling author, The Four Agreements

About Elaine
Elaine grew up in a a rather large extended family in Northern New Jersey. The house (and car on long trips) were always filled with music, especially singing. Both parents played piano, and her dad was a concert violinist, teacher of music and foreign languages, and possessed a wonderful voice. Her live-in maternal grandfather was also a concert pianist, and her mom’s Aunt Catherine often sang and played the piano for the family’s enjoyment.
Each of Elaine's four siblings are holistic doctors, and all of them possess musical talent, but it is Elaine who had the drive and ambition to go for her life-long dream of being a full-time musician. She made that declaration in the late 1970s and has been a success ever since, with 22 recording projects, thousands and thousands of touring miles, and 40+ years of performances.
Elaine is the recipient of a Garden State Music Award for Outstanding Folk Performer, nationally featured on The Wisdom Channel and on New Jersey Network's award-winning television program State of the Arts, and has appeared in concert with Arlo Guthrie, Pete Seeger, Doc Watson, Tom Paxton, Suzanne Vega, Jorma Kaukonen, Tom Chapin and many more of the folk world's brightest stars.
Since moving to Florida in 2000, Elaine's musical life has evolved into a Metaphysical Musical Ministry, where she often fills in for ministers at New Thought Centers such as Unity, Centers for Spiritual Living, Unitarian churches and other progressive centers. She has worked with many best-selling authors in her field, including Alan Cohen, as musical accompanist for his workshops and special events on numerous occasions. Some of the other renowned authors she has worked with include Deepak Chopra, Wayne Dyer, Brené Brown, Don Miguel Ruiz, Marianne Williamson, Barbara G. Walker and Neale Donald Walsch.
Elaine's many highly acclaimed recordings continue to receive rave reviews, while touching the hearts and minds of her listeners. "Faerie Elaine" brings magic, love and blessings to her concerts and appearances as a bright light sharing herself and her music with emotion and authenticity.
Singing a cappella or accompanying herself on guitar and (sometimes) banjo, Elaine has performed in concert at colleges, festivals, churches, clubs, and children's events throughout North America and Europe.
